The Tiv in
Contemporary Nigeria (Ed) Philip Terdoo Ahire, 1993 (Pages 129)
A publication of
the Tiv Studies Project, launched by the Tiv Senior Staff
Association of the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. The main
objectives of the Tiv Studies Project was to document key aspects of
Tiv cultural heritage in order to leave an authoritative reference
sources for generations of Nigerians.
In all 12 study
themes were commissioned. Team leaders were distinguished Tivs
experts and professionals in different fields.
The preface of the
book was written by the Traditional leader of the Tivs, HRH Alfred
Akawe Torkula, (Tor Tiv IV).
